Annual General Meeting & Call for Board Members
Body Stories Dance invites the public to join us for our first Annual General Meeting Saturday April 12, 1:30-2:30pm at the Little Current United Church Hall. We will share about our 2024 accomplishments, plans for 2025/26 and vote in our new board of directors. Light snacks will be provided.
We are also searching for new board members to join our team. Our board meets 10 times a year, generally on Sundays. Virtually in the winter and in person the rest of the year. We are a working board. Though attendance at meetings is important we are most interested in members who can contribute their skills to company projects and events while we grow our funding sources and staffing capacities.
We are especially looking for folks who:
Have experience in non-profit governance and/or finances
Are passionate about building and strengthening community relationships
Are practicing artists and/or educators
Share our organizational values of creativity, connection, and health
Interested applicants are asked to complete our application form. If this form is not accessible to you, or you have questions about our board, please contact us. Applications accepted until March 31, 2025
